The Waterloo County Junior Camp is intended for the very youngest of our campers. This camp will be made up of campers entering grades 4, 5, or 6, or born in 2006, 2007 and 2008. Our goal in this camp is to introduce the athletes to the game of volleyball, in hopes that they will develop a fondness for the game and want to continue to play it as they get older.
This camp will teach the very basic fundamentals of volleyball in a non-competitive, fun setting. We recognize that campers of this age will have some difficulty focusing on volleyball for 6.5 hours a day, so other activities, such as crafts, low-org games, and other camp games will also be offered every day.
Any athletes that do wish to concentrate on volleyball for the full day will be given the option of opting out of the non-volleyball activities and playing volleyball for the full day.source: www.wcvbc.ca
