What are you doing to prepare your children for a world where 70% of jobs CURRENTLY require a solid STEM-based education?

At Waterloo Summer Camp we focus on engaging campers in fun Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) activities that are designed to foster an interest in these subject areas. Studies show that children who are exposed to STEM at early ages have a better chance at embracing these subjects as they move through the education levels and enter the Canadian workforce. Our world is ever changing and the demand for STEM-based education will only increase.

Waterloo Summer Camp is founded on the principle that students want exciting, challenging, and life impacting STEM experiences. The camp is committed to demonstrating how STEM works in the real world by providing hands on activities in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) enhanced by the people through site visits and program development who work in those fields every day.

We believe that students learn best through hands-on experiences and that STEM learning should be both fun and memorable. Activities are age appropriate with hands on activities for all age groups. Activity extensions are available for those campers needing more of a challenge. Waterloo Summer Camp also integrates science and engineering kits, which complement the curriculum and allow children to create ingenious inventions, enhance critical problem solving skills, and have FUN! Join us in our quest to make STEM fun this summer at Waterloo Summer Camp!
